Construction Progress Assessments

Construction Progress Assessments

Including Commercial Draw Inspections and Pre-Design/Pre-Construction Building Documentation

For new construction projects, you’ll want a professional on-site to regularly monitor building progress. Our NPI inspectors will conduct progress inspections to ensure improvements are being made with the highest standards and on schedule according to your contract agreement. With Construction Progress Assessments, your National Property Inspections inspector will create a written report complete with high-resolution photos based on parameters and a timeline set by you, which may include:

  • Establishing the level of completion of the overall construction at a given point in time
  • Observing and remarking on the quality of the materials and craftsmanship
  • Providing data to help verify loan agreements
  • Reporting on the status of stored materials

Draw Inspections

When a builder completes a certain percentage of work on the property, the bank or lending institution should order a “draw” inspection to ensure certain phases of the constructed process have been completed correctly. NPI inspectors have performed thousands of draw inspections to verify whether the amount of money requested for the property is fair and reasonable for the amount of work that has been completed.

Commercial draw inspections are also useful for the personal records of the property owner.

Pre-Design and Pre-Construction Building Documentation

NPI also provides architects, engineers and construction project managers with details about a building’s space prior to designing the build-out. These detailed site surveys provide necessary details, such as measurement and location of HVAC ducts and drain lines, as well as width, height, and depth of interior areas prior to designing build-outs. These reports save other professionals from unnecessary, potentially inaccurate, site visits and expenses.
